The Hayward® W400BWHP Vac Lock Safety Wall Fitting is a safety device for suction side pool vacuums.
It is designed to be used with Hayward® Navigator PoolVac Aquanaut Poolvergnuegen The Pool Cleaner Aquanaut Swimming Pool Cleaners.
The Vac Lock has a spring-loaded cover that holds the pool cleaner hose in place and automatically closes the suction fitting when not in use.
This is an important safety feature because if the pool cleaner hose is removed from the wall of the pool and the pump is still providing suction, a dangerous situation can exist.
