USE CLEARVIEWTM ‘pH UP’ TO RAISE pH IN SWIMMING POOL WATER.The recommended pH for pool water is a range of 7.2 to 7.6 for maximum bather comfort and effective use of granular or tablet chlorine concentrate in your pool care program.Test for pH daily at the same time you test for chlorine. If your pH level is below 7.2, add this product at the rate of 1/4 lb. per 2,500 gallons of pool water by broadcasting it over the surface of the pool. Retest after 30 minutes and adjust until test kit reads in the 7.2 to 7.6 range. As a base amount to treat 2,500 gallons with pH values of:

  • Below 7.6 – none.
  • 7.2 to 7.6 – Ideal Range
  • 6.8 to 7.2 – 3 oz.
  • 6.5 to 6.8 – 5 oz.
  • Below 6.5 – 5 oz.

Use this base to calculate up and arrive at the full amount for treatment.
